Daniel Nishimwe is the CEO and Co-Founder of Akagera Community Freelance Guide. He started working in Akagera National park in 2013 then moved to tourist guiding in 2014.
He is certified after completing a series of industry and business training and has since guided many tourists, tour operators and visitors including ministers and ambassadors. Most notably, Daniel was privileged to guide Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and remarkably, Rwanda’s President HE. Paul KAGAME during his Royal tour with Peter Greenberg.
Through his guiding, Daniel shares the Rwandan culture through authentic tradition that is not acted or staged. This is an experience that gives visitors a real glimpse into the culture and tradition of Rwanda.
